Job Overview

Responsible for establishing and deploying Industrial Engineering systems for new factory setup. Support line layout planning, standard time definition, capacity and manpower modeling, process optimization and continuous improvement to ensure smooth factory ramp-up and achievement of efficiency, cost and delivery targets.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

New Factory Setup & Planning

  • Participate in line layout, material flow and workstation design for new factory
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and new line setup
  • Establish IE fundamentals including standard time, capacity and manpower models

Standard Time & Capacity Management

  • Conduct time study and motion study on shopfloor
  • Establish and maintain standard work and standard time
  • Perform capacity, manpower and bottleneck analysis

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify efficiency and line balance improvement opportunities
  • Drive Lean, Kaizen and IE improvement projects
  • Support productivity, cost and OEE improvement

System & Data Support

  • Support SAP / MES data setup (routing, work center, labor time)
  • Collaborate with Finance and Planning on capacity and cost analysis
  • Prepare IE related reports and analysis

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with ME, Production, Quality, Planning and Finance.
  • Support cross-functional issue resolution during ramp-up phase.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years IE or Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Experience in new factory or production ramp-up is a plus.
  • Strong IE methodology knowledge (time study, capacity, line balance)
  • Familiar with Lean / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement.
  • Proficient in Excel; SAP/MES knowledge preferred.
  • Good communication, execution and teamwork skills.
