Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing a project to achieve specified objectives. Involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality. Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and service requests for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand business needs and define scope and priorities for application releases.
- Coordinate across internal teams (technical architects, tech leads, business analysts, developers) to deliver quality outcomes.
- Apply industry best practices and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) to manage schedules, deliverables, and scope.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates, issue resolution, and scope discussions.
- Provide timely and accurate project status reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional project teams (internal and external), with responsibility for performance feedback and team development.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and team alignment with project goals.
- Own project financials including P&L, budget adherence, and forecasting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues promptly to ensure successful delivery.
- Evaluate and enhance project delivery processes for improved efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 8 to 9 years in IT project management focused on application development/enhancement.
- Must have hands-on experience managing application projects (e.g., enterprise software, custom solutions).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Strong understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
