About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize data center and hybrid cloud environments. The role requires strong expertise in VMware virtualization, server/storage management, backup solutions, and cloud technologies, along with hands-on experience in business continuity and disaster recovery. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of critical IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter, vROps, vRLI, vRNI) and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Deploy, configure, and support server hardware platforms (Dell VxRail, Dell/HP/Cisco/Lenovo rack servers).
- Oversee datacenter operations, including migration, consolidation, and performance optimization.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controllers, and patching.
- Manage storage platforms (Dell EMC, Unity, Synology) and backup solutions (Veeam, Dell PPDM).
- Implement and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) solutions.
- Collaborate on hybrid and cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Monitor infrastructure health and ensure proactive issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ Years of IT Experience.
- Hands-on experience in data center infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies (ESXi, vCenter, vROps, etc.).
- Experience with Hyper-V and enterprise server platforms (Dell/HP/Cisco/Lenovo).
- Hands-on expertise in storage, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, DC, patching).
- Experience in data center migration and consolidation projects.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, RPO/RTO, and business continuity solutions.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) in hybrid/on-premise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dell VxRail or similar hyper-converged infrastructure.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals in a data center environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (VMware VCP, Microsoft, AWS/Azure, Dell/EMC) are a plus.
