Interior Designer

Tesla is looking for a talented, motivated Architect to join our team in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving work environment.

The candidate will contribute to the design and execution of Tesla's Experience Centers and related projects across the APAC region, working alongside the Tesla architectural and design team to pioneer practical design solutions.

Candidates shall have at least 5 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design, with a proven track record of delivering landed projects from concept through completion, including hands-on involvement from concept to construction.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a pragmatic approach, using design to solve real-world problems effectively;

possess strong hands-on skills in creating renderings and drawings independently; have a rigorous work ethic, adapt quickly to changes, communicate well, and is comfortable with frequent travel.

Responsibilities

Conduct architectural and interior design for stores and related projects in the APAC region

Independently complete scheme plans, renderings, and technical drawings from concept to execution

Deliver designs that address real-world problems and pain points, ensuring functional and efficient outcomes

Understand the basic principles of store design and possess fundamental architectural design skills.

Demonstrate cost awareness, effectively coordinate with construction teams, and assist business partners in resolving practical implementation challenges

Leverage strong communication skills to collaborate and exchange ideas with business partners across different

countries and regions

Apply creative design capabilities to work with the team on upgrading store images and elevating the standardization level of store designs across the region

Accept a reasonable amount of travel to support on-site project needs

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent

Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Suite, proven ability to independently create renderings, scheme drawings, and technical drawings, with a practical focus on real-world results

Strong skills in commercial interiors, with hands-on experience in space planning, programming, and projects that use design to fix real issues

Registered or pursuing registration as a licensed Architect or Interior Designer is a plus

5 years of experience in commercial interior and architectural design, focusing on real projects where design solves actual challenges

Willing to travel in APAC and work in a fast-changing environment with a direct, results-driven mindset
