Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or other relevant discipline with CGPA 3.00 and above.
Position Objective:
Responsible for data engineering activities (Extraction, Transform, Load) and automation activities for Cybersecurity.
Requirements:
Problem Framing & Stakeholder Management
- Understanding the business context and identifying key questions and objectives.
- Identifying relevant data sources and stakeholders.
- Communicating with stakeholders to gather information and clarify requirements.
- Managing expectations and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Process Mapping
- Use a systematic framework of questioning to create transparency for a process.
- Documenting current operating processes and workflows to understand current state.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implement quick wins.
Data Extraction, Processing, and Cleaning
- Extracting data from APIs using Python and REST APIs.
- Applying techniques for handling missing/unclean data, outliers, and other issues.
- Write readable and easy to maintain code.
Data Analysis & Visualization
- Applying statistical and analytical techniques to understand and interpret data.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and insights in the data.
- Design key performance indicators (KPIs) and creating baseline measurements.
- Verify and test data accuracy.
- Creating interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar tools
Productionization
- Understanding the considerations for deploying data models and processes in a production environment.
- Automate workflows using Python and simple task schedulers
Practical Skills/Abilities:
- Able to communicate well in English.
- Resourceful, independent and result oriented.
- A good team player and keen to learn.
- Proactive.
