Role Description
This is a contract internship position based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, offering hands-on exposure to real production and animation workflows.
We are currently hiring for the following departments:
- Lighting, Compositing & Rendering
- Production Management
There are 34 openings available, with priority given to local final-year students. This is a fully on-site role, providing practical industry experience within an active production environment.
The Lighting/Compositing/Rendering Intern will assist in lighting, rendering, and compositing shots to ensure final outputs meet the creative and technical standards of the production, under the supervision of the team lead.
Responsibilities:
- Light assigned shots following direction from the team lead.
- Render and composite a still frame for approval before completing full shot rendering.
- Deliver final rendered and composited shots that align with the Director's vision and quality requirements.
- Identify and resolve errors such as missing frames or compositing issues to ensure flawless output.
- Perform caching of shots as required and complete tasks within scheduled timelines.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Maya.
- Basic knowledge of Blender is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Submission of an updated showreel or portfolio is required when applying.
Production Runner Intern, you'll support the Producers and Production Coordinators in the day-to-day running of projects, ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflows, and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and production support to the Producers and Production Team.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining production documentation, schedules, and reports.
- Help track assets and deliverables across departments and ensure deadlines are monitored.
- Coordinate internal meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
- Support communication between pre-production, production, and post teams.
- Learn and assist with the use of production tracking tools and databases for feedbacks.
- Shadow Producers and Coordinators to understand project planning, pipeline, and workflow.
Requirements:
- Interest in animation, film, or media production.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Excel, or production tracking tools (a plus).
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
