We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Account Assistant to manage inventory accuracy, support financial reporting, and ensure proper reconciliation of stock records. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate inventory data and support overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Monitoring
- Monitor inventory levels and movements to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Perform regular cycle counts and coordinate full physical stock counts
- Prepare inventory reports, including analysis of stock movements and reconciliations
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records and proper documentation for inventory-related transactions
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Finance, Logistics, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy
- Coordinate stock adjustments and resolve inventory-related issues with relevant stakeholders
Audit & Compliance
- Assist in internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Ad-hoc Support
- Provide analysis and support for additional tasks or projects as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, accounting, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with Power BI is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
