About the Job
As our organization expands its Malaysian operations, we are seeking a mid-level IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage our local technical environment. This role serves as a vital bridge between our regional office and our China Headquarters. You will be responsible for maintaining high-performance systems while coordinating directly with HQ specialists in Mandarin to implement global standards locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize network and system performance to ensure business continuity.
- Hardware/Software Maintenance: Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software components regularly.
- HQ Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the China HQ IT department to troubleshoot internal system issues and learn proprietary systems.
- Project Support: Support local technical projects, including NFC technology, network setups, and website maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
- Language: Professional fluency in Mandarin (Speaking, Reading, Writing) is mandatory to coordinate with the China IT team and undergo training.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and disaster recovery systems.
- Working Style: Must be willing to work fully on-site.
