Location: Kuala Lumpur (Kenanga Tower)
Work Mode: 5 Days Onsite
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Convertible to Permanent based on performance)

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor IT infrastructure and system security controls across networks, servers, and enterprise applications
- Ensure compliance with security policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor daily security incidents, infrastructure health checks, and operational activities
- Identify and assess security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Investigate and analyse security breaches or attempted attacks
- Perform incident response, risk assessments, and remediation planning
- Maintain detailed incident documentation and post-incident reports
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Conduct periodic security control reviews and improvements
- Support internal and external IT security audits
- Drive continuous improvement using KPIs and operational metrics
- Provide security advisory during system design and new implementations
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
- Prepare cybersecurity reports and management updates
- Participate in Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises
Requirements
Must-Have
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in IT Security, ITGC, or Security Governance
- Hands-on experience with:
- NAC, Firewalls (L2/L3), IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, Proxy
- VLAN, routing & switching
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management tools, and content filtering
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and networking protocols
- (DHCP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, SSH, LDAP, IPSEC)
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to SOC operations and PAM solutions
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, ISMS
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management)
