Job Description

Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00AM-05:00PM (flexible)

Working Location: TRX, FT Kuala Lumpur

Job Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing the daily IT operation in Malaysia.
  2. Understanding the business needs and managing IT demand to balance Business and IT objectives.
  3. Establishing effective partnerships with business and function as a bridge between business requirements and technical teams (In-house or 3rd party).
  4. Lead as Project Manager / coordinator to IT Projects on system implementation and/or enhancements.
  5. Providing IT support to Office users and Retail stores, investigating all assigned incidents to root cause so that fixes can be developed as appropriate.
  6. Ensure all new stores opening/relocation/closure are correctly planned and managed. Following existing processes and updating wherever necessary to provide on-time delivery and handover to Retail of all IT-related systems and tasks.
  7. Ensure adequate documentation are maintained and kept up to date.
  8. Handle and coordinate escalation (in-house or 3rd party) and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or above in Computer Science / Information System or related disciplines.
  2. Certified in CCNA, ITIL, and PMP would be desirable.
  3. At least 5 years of IT-related experience in a sizable company, preferably from retail.
  4. Demonstrated experience on building a stable and strong relationship with business functions.
  5. Experience on providing application support and retail system .
  6. Experience in common Enterprise systems: ERP (SAP ECC or S/4 HANA), POS, CRM, e-commerce and/or WMS is desirable.
  7. Experience in common IT systems: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, SQL.
  8. Experience in Windows / MacOS / iOS / Android devices, printers, MS Teams Room devices.
  9. Experience in networking, router, switch, firewall is desirable.
  10. Experience in Cisco Meraki solution is desirable.
  11. Exposure to IT budgeting (CAPEX, OPEX) is desirable.
  12. Familiar with ITSM process, ITIL certified is desirable.
  13. Hands-on, detailed, service minded, patient and good interpersonal skills.
  14. Organized and ability to plan work in a structured manner.
  15. Analytical, good troubleshooting skills and fast learning is mandatory.
