A Modern Trade Manager in Malaysia drives sales growth and brand presence across major hypermarket, supermarket, and retail chains. Core duties involve key account management, joint business planning, trade promotion optimization and distributor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account Management: Build and maintain strong buyer relationships with major Modern Trade retailers (e.g., AEON, Lotus's, Giant, Mydin).
• Distributor Management: Work together with distributor's team to achieve sales related goals such as sales target, product listing, monthly promotion and activities etc. Sales is not completed without collection.
• Joint Business Planning (JBP): Create annual growth plans, sales targets, and volume/value goals with retail partners.
• Trade Marketing & Promotions: Plan, execute, and evaluate in-store promotional campaigns, visibility, and product placements.
• Sales Forecasting: Monitor sell-in and sell-out data, inventory levels, and monthly revenue forecasts.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, field merchandisers, and promoters to ensure smooth product delivery and stock availability.
• Sales Analysis: Basic Excel (AI) pivot is necessary.
• General Trade (GT): GT experiences is a bonus.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of key account management and/or B2B sales experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Modern Trade sector.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, data analytics capability (handling retail scanner data), and fluent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin.
• Distributor Management: At least 3-5 years of experience in managing distributor.
• Transportation: Possess own car.
