The Key Account Manager/ Assistant Key Account Manager will support the Head of Sales (FMCG) in driving sales growth, managing key retail accounts, and executing trade strategies for Tealive FMCG products across modern trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management
- Assist in managing relationships with key retail accounts (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience chains).
- Support negotiations on pricing, promotions, and shelf placement.
- Ensure timely listing of new products and SKU expansions.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Monitor and analyze sales performance by account and SKU.
- Support in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
3. Trade Execution
- Ensure proper in-store execution of promotions, displays, and merchandising.
- Coordinate with merchandisers and distributors to maintain stock availability.
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and inventory planning.
- Ensure alignment between sales strategies and brand objectives.
6. Operational Support
- Handle administrative tasks such as account documentation, contracts, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with trade terms and company policies.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in modern trade.
- Experience handling retail chains is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.
- Results-driven with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
