About the role

The Key Account Manager in Malaysia will play a supportive role in driving new business development and expanding Cloudwise market presence within an assigned territory. This role will report to the SEA Sales Director. This position is ideal for an ambitious and proactive individual eager to develop their sales career in the technology sector, focusing on assisting with new customer acquisition and nurturing client relationships under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the end-to-end sales cycle for the assigned territory, focusing intensely on new customer acquisition, pipeline growth, and closing high-value deals.

Develop and execute focused Strategic Account Plans for named Major Accounts to maximize long-term sales growth, revenue generation, and market coverage.

Deliver committed sales targets by actively engaging with potential customers senior management, networking strategically, and personally driving complex deal closure.

Proactively develop and manage the opportunities pipeline, ensuring accurate and consistent sales forecasting.

Provide consultative sales expertise in the domain of AIOps / ITSM / ITOM, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on IT Operations strategy.

Lead the creation and delivery of professional technical presentations and business proposals/tenders tailored to specific customer requirements.

Actively network and engage with customer executives to deeply understand their overall business strategy, key drivers, and IT roadmap

Identify the customer's business and IT strategy to architect and drive innovative solutions that deliver measurable value and improve profitability and customer satisfaction

Passionately lead strategic conversations, deliver compelling business reviews, and facilitate high-level technical discussions to secure client buy-in.

Knowledge, skills, certifications, and experience

3 to 5 years of proven success in Key Account Management, Strategic Sales, or Enterprise Account Management. (Preferably in AiOps/ITSM/ITOM)

Sector expertise in either the Financial Services Industry (FSI) or Government sector.

Demonstrated experience in the software or SaaS industry, preferably with solutions related to AIOps / ITSM / ITOM.

Executive Presentation Mastery: Exceptional ability to structure, design, and deliver clear, compelling, and concise presentations to C-suite and senior management.

Business & Analytical Acumen: Highly skilled in leveraging business acumen and analytical abilities to strategically assess client goals and drive results.

Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across different departments while motivating internal and external teams to achieve results.

Bilingual Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in written and verbal English is required, with conversational fluency in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) to effectively communicate with counterparts in China.

Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in written and verbal English is required. Conversational fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective local communication, and additional fluency in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) is highly advantageous for regional interactions.

Location: This role is based in Malaysia, with a willingness to travel domestically as required.
