The Lead, Assurance & Insights plays a key role in ensuring continuous compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires close collaboration with various departments and business units to understand and uphold regulatory requirements, thereby strengthening organisation technology and cybersecurity compliance posture in a complex and evolving regulatory environment
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 610 years of experience with strong familiarity in technology and cyber risk industry practices, Bank Negara assessment controls, and technology policy documents.
- Proven experience liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Lead compliance governance by assessing internal frameworks, policies, and controls against regulatory requirements. Provide guidance on technology and cyber regulations, execute control walkthroughs and self-assessments, ensure adoption of relevant requirements, manage communication and queries with the Regulator (BNM), and track/report assessment progress and gap closures to relevant committees.
- Strategic Insights: Serve as a single point of management reporting for the CISO office, synthesizing data from multiple sources into cohesive narratives for the Etiqa Group. Collaborate with data owners to obtain validated information and provide clear, actionable reporting with strategic risk analysis and recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments and business units to understand and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring organisation technology and cybersecurity frameworks remain robust and aligned with evolving standards.
