The function is two-fold: (a) provide CDA (Control, Digital & Automation) support to site, eliminate CDA-related technical breakdowns and optimization of equipment OEE. (b) execute preventive maintenance activities and improvement works associated with all CDA assets.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the CDA team in Pringles Enstek and have a direct report of CDA executive, CDA Supervisor and 6 shift CDA technicians.
- He/She plays the leadership role in managing the entire CDA scope for the factory and making sure the highest level of service is provided in maintaining the reliability and performance of the machines.
- Accountable for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Breakdown maintenance on CDA scope and manage it through SAP with full completion and compliance.
- Formulate maintenance programs and strategies by using reliability maintenance guidelines to maintain and improve existing line performance (machine reliability, increase OEE, reduce USDT and etc.)
- Accountable for monitoring and conducting an assessment on CDA machines for obsoletes and machine life cycle. Propose an investment strategy to mitigate all the risks associated CDA and make sure zero interruption to the production plant.
- Ensure housekeeping and 5S are well maintained in the Engineering workshop, technical store, and all the relevant workplaces.
- Lead the CDA team in conducting problem-solving and guiding them on effectively eliminating issues relating to CDA by conducting effective problem-solving and improving the capability of the CDA team.
- Directly involved in machinery repair, troubleshooting, rectification, part service, and equipment overhaul by working with external vendors and internal technicians.
- Raise concern if there is any spare part request, abnormal condition, and urgent attention needed.
- Key member of KWS ( RM COE) by owning Element 5 (Breakdown Elimination)
- Element owner of CDA in Technical COE and responsible for cyber security, CDA obsolete management, PLA/PRA, and other related future Smart Factory initiatives.
- Accountable for conducting daily inspections and conduct rectification of plant facilities to ensure things are in order.
- Consistently work safely about self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Led factory shutdown activities planning and execution and ensuring vertical start-up.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Unplanned scheduled downtime to maintain below 4%
- Machine overall efficiency to keep >80%
- PM on-time completion >95%
- Keep low breakdown hours by providing fast support and resolving issues soon
- KWS Phase 1 and Phase 2 score >90%
- Lead the CDA team capability increase and problem-solving skills.
- To develop and sustain a reliable maintenance system to ensure business continuity and effective cost control. (obsolete management & asset life cycle management)
- To review technical KPIs and perform technical failure analysis for continuous improvement.
- Analyse, propose, and completion of CAPEX projects to maintain a high level of CDA machine performance and reliability.
- To lead and develop a comprehensive maintenance system with SAP integration.
- Support 24/7 run production line.
- To ensure all the plant maintenance is carried out as per schedule. Involved in all Corrective and Preventive execution.
- Own and maintain the Smart Factory app which includes PLA & PRA, and responsible for cyber security maintenance and upgrading as per plan
We're Looking for Someone With
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline with at least 10 years working experience.
- Sound practical knowledge in control circuit, PLC, HMI and drives (Allen Bradley). Able to understand single line and control circuit diagram.
- Preferably having work experience in F&B industries with experience in SAP system
- Technical experience in the following systems:
- Programmable logic controllers and touchscreen operator panel, preferably Allen-Bradley Control Logic-based controller and Panel View system.
- Digital sensory devices (e.g. capacitive/inductive/ magnetic/photoelectric sensor, electropneumatic actuator, etc)
- Analog based (4-20 mA) process devices (e.g. load cell, RTD, piezoelectric, differential pressure, hydrostatic, radar, electropneumatic positioner, control valves, etc)
- Ethernet-based communication devices (switch, data server, variable speed drives)
- Full reading/drawing literacy of single-line diagram and control panel electrical wiring diagram.
- Numerical literacy of basic electrical engineering (motor power, electrical load, cable sizing) and process engineering (basic mathematics related to the physics of pressure, temperature, level, force, etc)
- Power distribution system and electrical safety regulation
- Preferably with some process literacy in HVAC, compressed air supply, utility gas supply, potable and waste water treatment.
