Job Purpose
- Lead and manage the evaluation and execution of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other corporate development initiatives to support Sime Darby Property's growth objectives.
- Lead the identification, screening and assessment of potential acquisition, divestment and partnership opportunities through market research, financial analysis, valuation and strategic evaluation.
- Build, review and oversee financial models, valuations and business cases to support investment decisions, transaction execution and strategic planning.
- Work closely with business divisions and functional teams in evaluating and executing investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, commercial due diligence, investment structuring, negotiations and transaction execution.
- Manage the preparation and review of investment committee papers, due diligence reports, management presentations, Board materials and research reports.
- Support and manage the execution of capital raising, fund-raising and other corporate finance exercises aimed at enhancing capital allocation and optimising the Group's capital structure.
- Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders and external advisers (e.g. financial advisers, lawyers, consultants and accountants) throughout transaction processes and strategic initiatives.
- Provide guidance, coaching and quality review of work performed by Executives, Management Associates and Assistant Managers where appropriate.

- Leads the evaluation and execution of strategic, investment and corporate development opportunities, providing recommendations to management and business units
- Responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, valuation assessments, transaction recommendations and strategic insights to support decision-making
- Independently manages transaction workstreams and project timelines, while partnering with senior management on complex transactions and strategic initiatives
- .erves as a key liaison between business units, support functions and external advisers to facilitate transaction execution and strategic initiatives
- Reviews and challenges financial models, valuation outputs, due diligence findings and transaction assumptions to ensure analytical rigour and alignment with strategic objectives
- Provides guidance, coaching and oversight to junior team members, supporting capability development and ensuring quality deliverables
- Jointly accountable with business units for delivering investment outcomes, strategic objectives and company performance targets

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent
- Receipt of a professional certification in Real Estate, Accounting or Finance is an added advantage
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in real estate, strategy / management consulting and/or corporate finance / investment management
