Job Description
Purpose of Job
- To grow and maximize WWF-Malaysia's income through commercial and philanthropic activities, including marketing campaigns, licensing, promotions, cause-related marketing, corporate communication campaigns etc. from the corporate sector.
- End-to-end account management for all marketing partnerships including partnership communications, developing materials, organising events and other ad-hoc activities relevant to the partnership/collaboration.
- Lead and manage required processes including but not limited to prospect research, due diligence, proposal development and pitch presentations.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship arrangements.
- Develop retention strategy for marketing partnerships with minimal supervision to ensure collaboration renewal and continuous financial support.
- To support other fundraising units i.e. merchandise, face-to-face and digital fundraising leveraging on corporate channels and platforms.
Key Outputs
- Achieve annual fundraising and partnership income targets.
- Secure new corporate marketing partnerships and renew existing partnerships.
- Increase corporate donor retention and engagement.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns.
- Strengthen brand visibility through corporate collaborations and public engagement initiatives.
- Build a strong pipeline of prospects and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality donor stewardship and reporting.
- Ensure accurate CRM management and fundraising reporting.
Major Activities
1) Grow unrestricted corporate funding streams
2) Corporate Fundraising and Business Development
- Design and execute integrated corporate marketing and fundraising campaigns.
- Develop cause-related marketing initiatives with corporate partners.
- Establish and maintain a healthy marketing partnership pipeline and revenue forecast.
- Create campaign concepts, key messages and partnership storytelling materials
- Work closely with the Communications and Marketing team to ensure brand consistency.
- Identify opportunities to leverage partner platforms, customer networks and employee communities.
- Support digital marketing, social media engagement and fundraising promotions.
3) Account Management:
- Manage marketing partnership accounts including preparing quarterly reports, agreements, payment processing, brand and communication, organise meetings etc.
- Lead and manage presentations and proposals and all other correspondence with corporate partners/prospective corporate partners/donors.
- Up keeping of accounts database for active engagement and prospecting.
- Data entry of information related to prospecting, active partners, closed collaborations etc.
- Represent the donor in the proposal development process, ensuring clear communication of donor expectations and requirements.
- Coordinate partnership activations, launches, events and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Develop and maintain a retention calendar to upkeep donor engagement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and senior executives.
- Coordinate all contractual obligations and partnership deliverables.
Specifications
- A graduate preferably with a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising and Communications, Fundraising, Public Relations or a related field.
- Professional experience in marketing, fundraising and/or event management are an advantage.
- Minimum working experience of five years in the corporate or NGO sector.
- A comprehensive understanding of commercial practices and multinational business environment and GLC is a plus.
- Poses a strong sense of project ownership and attention to detail.
- Excellent account management and organisational skills, responsive and an aptitude for precision.
- Good interpersonal skills, innovative thinking, versatile ability to work in a team and work independently.
- Good understanding of current issues and trends in the corporate and NGO sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and diplomatic skills.
- Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Salary Range
RM5,000 - RM7,000
