Overview
The Network Lead is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and implementing network infrastructure to support business growth and industry standards. You will manage a team of engineers, ensuring operational excellence and high service availability through proactive incident management.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement network infrastructure strategy, upgrades, and capacity planning to align with business growth, industry network standards and trends
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers and specialists to ensure operational excellence.
Ensure high availability of network services and manage incident response for critical issues to consistently prevent SLA breaches.
Have an understanding on network security, including firewall, proxy, waf and compliance standards.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to optimize costs and performance.
Manage the network department budget, including hardware/software lifecycle costs.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or professional certification in networking.
10+ years of experience in network engineering/infrastructure, including 3-5+ years in a management or leadership role.
Senior-level knowledge of LAN/WAN, VoIP, network security (firewalls / WAF/ Proxy)and monitoring tools.
CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
Strong leadership, vendor management, strategic planning and BAU operations management.
