Prepares regular reporting to management on metrics relating to operations
Develop procedures for reporting, extract, collate and populate data to reporting template
Validate data accuracy and liaise with relevant parties to rectify data quality
Gather and provide requirements for the development of reports and dashboards that enable operations teams to monitor performance, identify issues and take actions and provide required reports to management teams.
Carry out robust analysis using a range of data sets and interpret findings to present appropriate conclusions or report/dashboard outputs.
Bring together the output from analysis into simple and persuasive stories and present these in slide decks or dashboards.
Conduct deep dive pieces of analysis to provide insight into an identified business question or drive recommendations to improve operations processes.
Respond to specific requests for data and analysis
Plan and prioritize product backlog for the report / dashboard development
Job Requirements :
A degree holder in Computer Science, Statistics , Information Systems or related principles.
5-7 years of relevant working experience in Business Intelligence or Central MIS functions
Solid knowledge of insurance operations a must
Ability to liaise with technology teams to automate reporting
Proficiency in Data Migration, ETL,query automation will be an added advantage
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant volumes of data
Good SQL skills (preferably on MS SQL Server / Azure SQL Database)
Practical experience with visualization tools like Tableau or MS PowerBI
Proficiency in MS- Office suite with special focus on MS- Powerpoint and MS- Excel a must have
Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organisation
