WE ARE LOOKING FOR .....Responsible for delivering standard reports on periodic basis as required by the business for operations.

  • Prepares regular reporting to management on metrics relating to operations

  • Develop procedures for reporting, extract, collate and populate data to reporting template

  • Validate data accuracy and liaise with relevant parties to rectify data quality

  • Gather and provide requirements for the development of reports and dashboards that enable operations teams to monitor performance, identify issues and take actions and provide required reports to management teams.

  • Carry out robust analysis using a range of data sets and interpret findings to present appropriate conclusions or report/dashboard outputs.

  • Bring together the output from analysis into simple and persuasive stories and present these in slide decks or dashboards.

  • Conduct deep dive pieces of analysis to provide insight into an identified business question or drive recommendations to improve operations processes.

  • Respond to specific requests for data and analysis

  • Plan and prioritize product backlog for the report / dashboard development

Job Requirements :

  • A degree holder in Computer Science, Statistics , Information Systems or related principles.

  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in Business Intelligence or Central MIS functions

  • Solid knowledge of insurance operations a must

  • Ability to liaise with technology teams to automate reporting

  • Proficiency in Data Migration, ETL,query automation will be an added advantage

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant volumes of data

  • Good SQL skills (preferably on MS SQL Server / Azure SQL Database)

  • Practical experience with visualization tools like Tableau or MS PowerBI

  • Proficiency in MS- Office suite with special focus on MS- Powerpoint and MS- Excel a must have

  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organisation
