The Manager, Developer Management Unit, plays a pivotal role in driving the bank's mortgage business by strategically engaging with property developers. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through the empanelment of under-construction projects, maintaining high-value developer relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of end-financing processes. This Manager acts as the bank's key representative in the primary property market.
1. Business Development and Partnership Management (Functional)
Identify and secure new business opportunities by successfully empaneling under-construction projects with the bank.
Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with panel developers, ensuring their needs and requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
Initiate and conduct business reviews with developers for strategic account planning and collaborative campaign development.
Perform annual reviews of developers and their respective projects to ensure continued viability and adherence to standards.
Represent Hong Leong Bank effectively in the primary property market.
2. Process Coordination and Compliance (Functional & Managerial)
Collaborate closely with the Credit Evaluation Department, Mortgage Credit Administration Department, Sales Channels, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless end-financing processes.
Resolve issues related to End Financing (EF) limits, Letters of Undertakings, drawdowns, and other critical process bottlenecks.
Ensure all end financing processes and activities adhere to all regulatory policies and guidelines.
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of working experience in the related field.
Preferably a candidate with prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager specializing in Banking, Financial Services, or equivalent roles.
Special Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in Mortgage products and processes.
Proven track record in Relationship Management and Account Management.
Strong capabilities in Business Development and securing Strategic Partnerships or Alliances.
