The Role:

You will drive regional sales growth for functional food, nutraceutical, and health supplement ingredients across Southeast Asia by developing new business, managing key accounts, and expanding market and product presence in collaboration with local teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive regional sales growth for ingredients and raw materials across the functional food, nutraceutical, and health supplement markets in Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with food and supplement manufacturers, building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Own sales targets and KPIs, translating strategy into clear action plans and measurable results.
  • Proactively initiate outreach (including cold calling), prepare sales materials, and execute sales activities in close collaboration with local commercial teams.
  • Understand customer needs and application requirements to expand both customer accounts and product portfolios.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer buying behaviour to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer, supplier, and internal inquiries to maintain high service standards.
  • Manage sales, development, forecasting, and performance reports with accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams on stock planning and inventory management to support business growth.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with customers and business partners across the region.
  • Take on ad-hoc responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, fast-growing business environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related discipline, with strong academic results.
  • 57 years of experience in functional food, nutraceutical, or supplement ingredient sales.
  • A blend of commercial acumen and technical understanding; candidates with both sales and technical experience will be highly regarded.
  • Established network with food, functional food, and supplement manufacturers across the region.
  • Exposure to upstream segments of the food ingredients industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong sales, marketing, and relationship-building skills, with a results-driven mindset.
