We are PDR, one of China's most established recruiting and staffing companies. As part of our global expansion, we are hiring a Global Marketing Director to lead our branding, growth, and go-to-market strategies.
The Global Marketing Director will lead the strategic planning and execution of all marketing efforts across our regional offices. This role is critical in building a globally consistent and respected brand, driving client and candidate engagement, and supporting business growth through integrated, data-driven marketing. The individual will manage a global team and collaborate closely with sales, operations, and leadership across key markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global marketing strategy aligned with the group's vision and growth objectives, incorporating regional nuances across key markets
- Lead market and competitor analysis to identify trends, client demands, and opportunities across the recruitment and HR services space
- Define long-term brand and demand generation goals, and ensure effective execution
- Lead the global brand narrative and ensure consistency across all regions, platforms, and material
- Oversee creation of marketing content, PR campaigns, employer branding, and media outreach to strengthen brand visibility and reputation
- Establish the company as a thought leader in the talent acquisition, RPO, and workforce solutions space
- Manage and grow a high-performing, globally distributed marketing team
- Foster a collaborative, data-driven, and innovative marketing culture
- Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities
- Drive full-funnel digital marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid media, social, CRM, and email automation
- Partner with local teams to tailor campaigns for client acquisition, candidate engagement, and talent community building
- Track and report on KPIs including lead generation, ROI and brand awareness
- Work closely with business unit leaders, sales, delivery, and regional MDs to align marketing efforts with commercial priorities
- Support bid/tender marketing, new business presentations, and account-based marketing (ABM)
- Share regular market insights and campaign performance with senior stakeholders
- Monitor global market sentiment and brand-related risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields. MBA preferred
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within recruitment, staffing, or HR tech with 5+ years leading regional or global marketing teams
- Experience working in matrix or multi-country environments
- Strong brand storytelling and positioning expertise
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels, MarTech stacks, and analytics tools
- Ability to lead cross-cultural teams and collaborate remotely across time zones
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Ability to draft industry whitepaper and create marketing collateral for the Chinese market
