Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager based in Kuala Lumpur on behalf of our multinational client, a leading manufacturer of pumps and pump systems.

The Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia (SEA) will lead and execute the full 360 marketing strategy for the region, ensuring strong brand visibility, effective customer engagement, and alignment with company`s global sustainability, digital, and innovation-driven positioning. The role requires close collaboration with local teams across multiple SEA countries and the ability to manage both on-site and remote execution of marketing activities.

This position plays a key role in strengthening market presence, enhancing brand equity, and supporting sales growth through targeted marketing initiatives, customer touchpoints, and measurable ROI-driven programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive 360 marketing plans for SEA markets, covering brand, communication, digital, events, PR, and customer engagement.
  • Ensure alignment with global and regional AMEA marketing strategies.
  • Drive localization of global campaigns while maintaining brand guidelines and creative consistency.
  • Increase brand recognition across SEA through high-impact campaigns, industry partnerships, and media visibility.
  • Position as a leader in sustainable water solutions, innovation, and Water AI technologies.
  • Ensure brand compliance across all touchpoints and communications.
  • Lead digital marketing activities across SEA, including social media, CRM campaigns, marketing automation, SEO, and website content.
  • Monitor KPIs such as digital leads, conversions, website traffic, and campaign ROI.
  • Strengthen customer experience across all interaction points: events, digital channels, sales support tools, and communications service.
  • Create marketing assets that support sales teams in accelerating the pipeline and boosting customer conversion rates.
  • Plan and manage regional marketing events, exhibitions, and customer workshops in SEA markets.
  • Coordinate with local teams for on-ground execution; many activities can be managed remotely through strong collaboration and follow-up.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive activities, and emerging trends.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to strengthen positioning in key segments.
  • Work closely with Sales, GPA, Product Management, Digital, HR, and AMEA Communications.
  • Ensure marketing activities directly support business objectives and pipeline generation.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors across SEA.
