We are now embarking on an exciting international expansion, starting with Malaysia, and are building a pioneering local team to bring our beloved brand to new consumers.
Job Overview
As the founding Marketing Manager for Malaysia, you will be the architect of our brand's launch and growth in this new market. You will develop and execute the full marketing strategy, build our local presence from the ground up, and drive customer acquisition for our first flagship stores.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and launch plan for the Malaysian market.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of all local marketing activities, including grand openings, promotional campaigns, and local partnerships.
- Own and manage our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), from content strategy to community engagement and paid advertising.
- Build and nurture relationships with local KOLs, media, and potential commercial partners.
- Analyze market data and campaign performance to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.
- Manage the local marketing budget efficiently and report on performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the QSR/foodservice sector. Experience in building a brand from launch is a significant advantage.
- Deep, native understanding of the Malaysian consumer landscape and social media ecosystem.
- Proven success in creative campaign planning, execution, and data-driven optimization.
- Excellent communication skills in Malay and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a Must to facilitate collaboration with the China HQ team.
- Independent, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Prior experience working with or within a Chinese company is highly preferred.
