Job Description
The Account Servicing Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial and operational requests related to card and merchant services. This role involves verifying documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external service providers, and supporting system enhancements and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify completeness and authorized signatories of journal entries, creation requests, posting requests, and related instructions.
- Assign requests to designated inputters for manual data entry.
- Review data entry and maintenance reports or screens against source documents to ensure accuracy.
- Process enrollment, termination, redemption, and order requests with various service providers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Participate in ad-hoc assignments related to process improvement and system enhancement, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Respond to inquiries from business and support units in a timely and professional manner.
- Gather and compile information related to system issues and escalate to the Help Desk.
- Monitor and follow up on issues, tasks, or assignments to ensure completion within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks or assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in card operations and reconciliation is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, functions, and Power Query.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
