Job Overview

We're looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our strategic innovation consultancy studio in Kuala Lumpur. This is not a production-only design role. We're looking for a creative thinker, someone who understands how ideas and strategy turn into powerful visual communication. You'll work closely with our Founder / Chief Strategist, from early concept development all the way through to final execution. When strategy explains something in words, you bring it to life visually in a way people can instantly understand and remember.

What You'll Do

Brand & Visual Systems

• Develop comprehensive brand identity systems (logo, typography, color, iconography)
• Translate strategic concepts into clear visual directions
• Design scalable brand guidelines and documentation
• Ensure brand systems work across both digital and physical touchpoints

3D Concept & Visualization

• Create high-quality 3D renders for products, packaging, and environments
• Produce visuals used in pitch decks, campaign materials, and concept presentations
• Use tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Keyshot

Graphic Design & Art Direction

• Design across print, digital, editorial, and presentation decks
• Create high-stakes presentation decks that communicate the strategic thinking behind the design
• Provide art direction for photography and videography shoots
• Ensure all visual assets stay consistent with brand strategy

Motion & Digital Content

• Create motion graphics for digital campaigns and social media
• Support studio storytelling by documenting behind-the-scenes content and studio growth
• Produce dynamic assets for digital platforms

Creative Thinking & Studio Collaboration

• Participate in early strategy and concept development sessions
• Bring visual-first thinking into problem solving
• Maintain organised project files and manage personal timelines
• Contribute visual references, trends, and cultural insights to studio discussions

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• 3D Software (Blender, Cinema 4D, Keyshot or equivalent)
• Motion Graphics (After Effects or Premiere Pro)
• Figma for brand systems and presentation assets
• Experience designing Keynote / PowerPoint presentation decks

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Strong English communication skills required; Chinese proficiency is an added advantage

Has an understanding of F&B and knows how to create visually compelling designs that connect with customers

Understands that design is communication, not decoration

Thinks strategically before designing visually

Has strong opinions about their work but is open to better ideas

Works independently and takes ownership of projects

Communicates transparently about timelines and challenges
