Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Murex System Analyst with 35 years of hands-on experience in supporting, enhancing, and maintaining Murex environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Murex modules, workflows, configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with upstream/downstream systems. You will collaborate with business users, traders, and technical teams to deliver stable and efficient Murex solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide functional and technical support for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Accounting, etc.).
- Work on Murex Configurations: workflows, static data setup, trade templates, market data, curves, and report setup.
- Perform end-to-end analysis of issues in Murex including trade events, lifecycle processing, and P&L impacts.
- Assist in Murex upgrades, testing (SIT/UAT), environment migration, and patch deployments.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and implement new business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Murex MXML workflows, interfaces, and integration points.
- Support day-to-day production activities, including incident resolution, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Partner with business stakeholders (Traders, Risk, Operations, Finance) to understand and deliver solution enhancements.
- Prepare technical and functional documentation for configurations, customizations, and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience- 35 years of experience as a Murex System Analyst or Murex Support Engineer.
- Strong experience with Murex modules (FO/BO/Risk/Accounting).
- Hands-on knowledge of MXML, Murex Workflows, Datamart, Market Data configuration, Simulation views, and Trade lifecycle.
- Good understanding of Capital Markets, including FX, Money Market, Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Structured Products.
- Experience with SQL, Unix/Linux commands, and scripting for analysis and debugging.
- Familiarity with integration architecture: MQ, APIs, file-based interfaces, Murex gateways.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage business expectations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have- Experience with Murex 3.1 / MXpress.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git.
- Knowledge of financial risk concepts: VaR, Greeks, pricing models.
- Experience in major Murex upgrade/migration projects.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
