Job Title: Murex System Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Murex System Analyst with hands-on experience in Murex Datamart. The candidate will support reporting, data extraction, and analytics activities using SQL, Java, and Python, working with Oracle and SQL Server databases on Windows systems. The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure accurate data reporting and analysis for the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Murex Datamart reporting and analytics activities
  • Extract, transform, and load data for reporting purposes using SQL, Java, and Python
  • Maintain and optimize Datamart performance and data integrity
  • Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements
  • Support system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications
  • Work within the MEA region technology team to deliver timely solutions

Required Skills:
3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst or Developer in Datamart/Reporting projects
Hands-on experience with Murex Datamart
Strong SQL skills for querying and reporting
Proficiency in Java and Python for data processing and automation
Experience with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases
Working knowledge of Windows 2012 environment
Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to Linux scripting and automation
Knowledge of financial instruments and trading systems in Murex
Experience with end-to-end reporting and analytics in banking
Familiarity with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts
