Job Description

We are currently hiring for two contractual roles within our Operations team: Corporate Actions (CA) and Receipts and Payments.

Job Description

a) Corporate Action (CA):

  • Monitor daily bursa and foreign CA announcements to ensure CA events are updated in the system.
  • Process mandatory and voluntary CA entitlements to clients.
  • Prepare proxy notification and ensure proxy form (e.g. EGM/AGM/CCM) submission before the deadline to the share registrar/ counterparty.
  • Perform daily share balance confirmation, prepare journal billing related to CA charges for CA events.
  • Ensure high compliance culture and maintain zero error.
  • Additional task/ assignment as assigned by superior from time to time.

b)Receipt and Payment

  • Process and handle fund deposit and trust withdrawal requests from remisier/ dealer on behalf of their clients. Ensure timely processing to avoid delay.
  • Perform contract splitting/ receipt cancellation and process daily sales proceeds payment, follow up closely if proceeds are rejected by the Bank.
  • Process Clicks Traders&apos settlement transactions on daily basis.
  • End to end e-IPO process and handling (e.g. from IPO opening date to refund process to clients). Ensure all applicant names are matched with bank statement records daily, deal closely with Issuing House on e-IPO processing.
  • Handle fund conversion upon received remisier/ dealer instruction for trade settlement.
  • Ensure daily bank reconciliation for 3rd party payment is promptly done and up to date.
  • Raise STR for AML compliance.
  • Attend to query/complaints/problems encountered by other sections/ dealer/ remisier.
  • Involve in system enhancements and various back-office transformation projects for process improvement/ automation and actively involve in UAT testing.
  • Ensure high compliance culture and maintain zero error.
  • Additional task/ assignment as assigned by superior from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in any related field.
  • Preferably 1 year experience in back-office processing. However, fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Good command in English and Malay (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of securities/ equities/ stock market.
  • PC skills (Advance Excel skill, Word).
