Operations Associate

Fintonia Group is building a tech-enabled digital assets financial services platform, with offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, combining a strong background in traditional finance with disruptive technology.

You will be joining a fun and fast-paced environment and will be working with a small team of seasoned industry professionals with experience working at top tier global investment banks and industry leaders.

The Role

We are looking for a driven and experienced fund operations professional to join our Fund Operations team, and support Fintonia's various products and services. This role will suit a high performing individual who is entrepreneurial, wants to take on greater responsibility and has an interest in digital assets. This role will give you the opportunity to directly contribute to building a business and becoming a leader in a fast-growing asset class.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the fund operations team, your responsibilities will include:

• Bank & Counterparty Onboarding - Documentation and Preparation; respond to queries and information during onboarding process
• Prepare documentation and co-ordinate internal and external parties for fund subscription & redemption
• Investment Management post trade control - trade confirmation, settlement and reconciliation for both fiat and crypto currencies
• Co-ordinate fund movement between trading counterparties
• Prepare client NAV statements and notices
• Assist in documentation of processes
• Communicate/Liaise with external parties – fund administrators, custodians and counterparties back-office
• Process Improvement - Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement in the onboarding and investment management operations processes

Qualifications and Experience

To be a successful applicant, you are likely to meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 – 3 years experience in fund administration operations, cash management operations, investment operations or settlement
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, work independently but collaboratively as a team player
• Knowledge and experience in digital assets would be a plus
