The Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Partnership Manager to lead our growth in Malaysia. This is a strategic position responsible for the oversight and expansion of our relationships with top tier education agencies and premier higher education institutions. Your mission is to establish uhomes.com as the primary accommodation partner for the Malaysian study-abroad market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Strategy: Design and execute a high-value partnership roadmap for the Malaysian market, focusing on ROI-driven channels.
  • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain key account relationships with major education agencies (e.g. IDP, AUG, AECC) and university international offices.
  • Brand Advocacy: Represent uhomes.com as a thought leader at industry conferences, webinars, and regional forums.
  • Territory Growth: Identify and capture untapped opportunities in the Northern (Penang) and Southern (Johor) corridors.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with internal Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless referral-to-booking workflow.
  • Market Intelligence: Leverage student mobility data and competitor trends to influence global product priorities and local commercial models.

Experiences & Requirements

  • Experience: 57 years in Higher Education, Study Abroad, or Student Accommodation.
  • Strong Professional Network: A plug-and-play network across the Malaysian education landscape with established relationships at the Director level.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to mentor junior team members and manage regional/remote operations.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel regularly across Malaysia (KL, Penang, Johor) and occasionally abroad.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (Written/Verbal). Proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
  • Mindset: An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach with a sharp analytical eye for data and execution.
