A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As Payroll Analyst, you execute the payroll process for APAC. In this role, you will report to the Payroll Manager, APAC.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Ensures payroll is processed with speed and accuracy.
  • Serves as liaison to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
  • Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc.
  • Coordinates third party payroll system implementations and upgrades.
  • Interprets pay policies, (eg., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.
  • Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements; stays current with changes in the law.
  • May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings and related documentation.
  • Documents payroll processes and procedures.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, business informatics or any relevant skills.
  • 5+ years of related experience of APAC payroll experience, including Workday proficiency.
  • Ability to effectively analyze large amounts of data and present key findings to management.
  • Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details, completes transactions accurately and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated, organized and ability to multitask, honest, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate excellently with colleagues, teams, and other functions.
