Purpose of the Role: As Principal Consultant (Islamic), you will be responsible to bring deep expertise in core banking systems and products to lead consulting engagements within the banking sector. This is an independent contributor role, ideal for professionals who provide strategic insight, hands-on experience, and high-value recommendations across multiple core banking modules, while ensuring alignment with client objectives, industry best practices, and Indonesian banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the Islamic banking solutions (e.g. Sharia-compliant) including personal financing, home financing, auto financing, and deposits based on profit-sharing.
- Uerstanding bank business needs and providing strategic guidance and participate in the design and development of innovative solutions for clients.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Islamic banking solutions products, processes, central bank regulations, and industry best practices.
- Lead business requirement analysis and solution design aligned with the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
- Stay updated and informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the Islamic banking solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and discussions with business and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including trainings, articles, and presentations.
- Deliver high-quality outcomes independently while maintaining proactive communication with client teams.
Qualification:-
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Banking, IT/Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience of 5-8 years or above in a consulting role with a focus on Islamic banking solutions domain.
- Strong expertise in banking systems and financial technologies, such as Islamic Banking solutions or Core Banking.
- Proficiency in analysing customer requirements, creating tailored strategies, and driving business transformation.
- Excellent project management, consultancy, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and trends in Islamic financial services is highly advantageous.
- Language proficiency in English is a must.
