Product Sourcing, Senior Executive (D2C)
We are looking for a Product Sourcing Executive (D2C) to manage and coordinate the end-to-end product sourcing process for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) portfolio, including Rent-To-Own and Ecommerce channels.
This role plays a key part in working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure sourcing activities meet timeline, quality, compliance, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
- Maintain the product roadmap and development cycle for D2C products
- Support cross-functional teams in managing the product lifecycle from sourcing to post-launch evaluation
2. Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
- Act as the main point of contact for all supplier communications
- Ensure supplier reliability, performance, and compliance
3. Sourcing Process Coordination
- Closely follow up with suppliers on sourcing activities, including:
- Product specifications and documentation
- Sample requests and approvals
- Compliance, functional testing, and certifications
- Legal and regulatory requirements
- Packaging development
- Marketing asset coordination
- Order processing and shipment tracking
- Manage costing, pricing, and commercial terms
- Resolve quality-related issues to maintain profitability and standards
4. Inventory & Timeline Management
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to align sourcing timelines with marketing and sales plans
- Monitor stock availability to prevent delays or shortages
- Manage forecasting and ordering processes
5. Risk Management
- Identify potential sourcing risks (e.g. delays, compliance failures, quality issues)
- Implement mitigation and contingency plans for critical suppliers and shipments
6. Documentation Control
- Ensure all sourcing-related documents (specifications, certifications, test reports, contracts) are accurate, complete, and properly archived for audit and compliance purposes
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product sourcing or procurement, preferably within D2C or ecommerce
- Strong knowledge of compliance and certification requirements for consumer electronics products
- Excellent follow-up, communication, and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
