Plan, monitor, and coordinate production operations and project execution across relevant sectors.
Assist in the development and implementation of engineering solutions to optimize plant/equipment performance.
Work closely with the design, QA/QC, maintenance, and project teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Analyze operational issues and propose corrective and preventive actions to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Ensure all work complies with applicable standards, safety guidelines, and client specifications.
Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and production-related records.
Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
Conduct meetings including contract review meetings, KOM, Pre-Inspection, client meetings, and discussions with contractors on production matters.
Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth coordination.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost-control strategies.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by Management in the best interests of the Company.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
25 years of relevant experience in production or engineering operations, preferably in site supervision, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and/or commissioning.
Good understanding of industrial processes, plant operations, and engineering systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, or engineering software tools (e.g., SolidWorks, MATLAB, etc.).
Knowledge of ISO standards, HSE practices, and local regulatory compliance.
Analytical and enquiring mind.
Energetic with a Can-do attitude.
Disciplined and a strong team player.
Good written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literate.
Willing to travel (within Malaysia/Abroad).
Skills required: Process Optimization, Root Cause Analysis and Lean Manufacturing.
