Production Planner

Client Background: EMS industry

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Units (BU) and customers to develop an accurate demand plan following the Demand Management process.

• Create a Master Schedule through resource analysis, including material sizing and capacity planning.

• Load the Master Schedule into the Jabil ERP system.

• Develop and maintain a feasible production plan, working closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution.

• Develop revenue forecasts, monitor actual performance, and implement corrective actions or recovery plans if revenue targets are at risk.

• Track planning metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Follow all company security policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems experience with Jabil ERP preferred.

• 1-2 years of materials-related experience.

• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software packages.

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

• Problem-solving skills for situations involving multiple variables in standardized scenarios.

• Basic math and analytical skills: algebra, geometry, percentages, area, circumference, and volume calculations.

• Strong proficiency in logistics planning and strategy implementation to achieve business goals.

• Proficient in English (verbal and written).

• APICS certification preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree without experience.

• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
