Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices
- Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Collaborate with Professional Engineer with Practice Certification (PEPC) in establishing connections, preparing, and following up on Authority Submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fields.
- Registered with Board of Engineer (BEM)
- Minimum of5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and system implementation
- Proficiency inCAD software, such as AutoCAD
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to innovate and optimize electrical solutions
- Exposure in executing design and construction projects within a BIM environment, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of BIM tools such as REVIT and CAD
- Candidates with prior experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure projects, such as metro and railways, will be given preference.
- Proficiency in the use of specialized engineering software, includingDialux, Hevacomp, Ricoda, Amptech/ETAP.
