Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end project execution in alignment with internal project management standards and HSE guidelines.
• Clarify customer requirements, specifications, and project targets with stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams.
• Participate in tender discussions and represent the project in both internal and external engagements.
• Develop project strategies, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, and performance; implement corrective actions to minimize risks and cost overruns.
• Manage communication with customers, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve project issues and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Manage subcontractors and field service suppliers throughout project execution.
• Handle contract management, including variation orders, claims, and commercial matters.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and cost optimization initiatives.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and ensure effective communication across all levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in High Voltage Transmission Services (e.g., GIS, AIS, transformers, circuit breakers).
• Strong knowledge of High Voltage transmission products and services.
• Experience as a site/field service technical supervisor is advantageous.
• Experience in contract management and commercial aspects of projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multicultural teams.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic and challenging project environments.
• Willingness to travel locally and within the region
• PMP, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Data center project experience is an added advantage.
