Project Manager Cleanroom & M&E, Shah Alam

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead our Cleanroom & Mechanical & Electrical projects in Shah Alam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and proven leadership skills to ensure successful delivery of high-quality projects within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead cleanroom, M&E, architectural and construction projects from start to final handover.
• Manage HVAC/AHU, filtration, piping and other M&E systems.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones and critical activities.
• Ensure projects meet agreed scope, timeline, quality and budget.
• Manage project costs, cash flow, claims, variations and profitability.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main contact for clients, consultants, contractors and internal management.
• Lead project meetings, site progress meetings and project reporting.
• Maintain good relationships with key stakeholders.
• Handle project variations, scope changes and contractual claims.
• Resolve project issues and manage stakeholder expectations.

Procurement & Site Management

• Lead project engineers, site supervisors and M&E subcontractors.
• Ensure site progress, quality and safety requirements are met.
• Manage procurement of key cleanroom equipment, including: AHUs, Chilled Water Plants, HEPA/ULPA Filters, Sandwich Panels & Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Manage subcontractor tendering, selection and performance.
• Coordinate resources and procurement to avoid project delays.

Testing, Validation & Handover

• Manage cleanroom qualification and validation activities: DQ – Design Qualification; IQ – Installation Qualification; OQ – Operational Qualification; PQ – Performance Qualification
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom standards and Malaysian regulations.
• Oversee Testing & Balancing (TAB) documentation.
• Manage VMP, as-built drawings and project close-out documents.
• Coordinate client training and final project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, HVAC, Construction Management or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in cleanroom and M&E projects.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin.
• Strong hands-on engineering experience in at least one relevant discipline.
• Proven experience delivering cleanroom and M&E installation projects.
• Cleanroom design experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of cleanroom construction, MEP systems and commissioning.
• PMP, CIDB Green Card or Certified Construction Project Manager qualification is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Remunerations: RM7,500 – RM12,000
