Job Description:
1. Strategy & Business Growth
- Define, implement, and execute business development and growth strategies for the Cross Border business in Malaysia.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis and have a deep understanding of overseas market landscape, user behaviours, and plan the most effective solution or innovative strategy for business growth.
- Identify business challenges, develop hypotheses, conduct data analysis, and present insights and strategic recommendations to support senior leadership decision-making.
2. Program & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Business Intelligence, Operations, Product, and Finance to align on business priorities and execution plans.
- Lead end-to-end strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives across regional and local stakeholders to deliver topline growth and meet P&L targets.
3. Performance, P&L & Resource Optimization
- Own key business operations and monetization metrics against targets, including take rate, revenue, costs, budget utilization, promotional investments (PRM), and advertising performance.
- Track program performance and P&L impact, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement to achieve business targets.
- Drive budget planning, resource allocation, and investment optimization to maximize business impact, profitability, and return on investment.
Requirements:
- Full-time Bachelor's degree or above and fast learning
- At least 2 years of working experience in internet / ecommerce or consulting experiences will be advantageous
- Strong analytical skill and sensitivity to data, detail-oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skill in English. Mandarin is a plus
- Strong ability to execute, deal with uncertainty, learn fast and manage projects from end to end
- Work well with cross functional teams in a fast paced environment
- Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude
- Basic competency in Excel and PowerPoint software for presentations and analysis
