Company Background:

Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to understand material requirements and specifications
- Track order status to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues
- Evaluate market trends and alternative materials to drive cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier documentation
- Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant industry regulations
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or site project
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiar with procurement software and ERP systems
- Knowledge of technical drawings and specifications is a plus
- Good organizational and time management abilities

Salary Range: RM4k - RM9k
