Job Description

Our client is a design and build interior firm specializing in corporate office fit-out projects. The company delivers end-to-end solutions covering interior design, construction, MEP coordination, and project delivery, with a strong focus on quality, cost efficiency, and timely execution.

We are seeking for an experienced QS & Contract Management Specialist (Corporate Office) to strengthen its commercial and cost management capabilities across ongoing and upcoming office fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end quantity surveying functions across all project stages, from tendering and procurement through to project close-out and final account settlement.
  • Develop and control project cost plans, including preparation of estimates, budgets, tender documentation, and ongoing financial forecasts.
  • Lead subcontractor evaluation and commercial negotiations, ensuring competitive pricing, value optimisation, and contract compliance.
  • Administer contractual and commercial matters, such as progress payments, variation assessments, claims management, and final accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with design, project, and construction teams specifically for corporate office to manage cost implications during design development while safeguarding project profitability and cash flow.

Key Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 - 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with main contractors.
  • Demonstrated strong hands-on experience in Corporate Office Design & Build projects, covering interior fit-out works, MEP, and architectural trades.
  • Established track record delivering corporate office interior or commercial fit-out projects with full involvement from start to finish.
  • Solid expertise in cost planning, value engineering, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Good working knowledge of local construction pre and post contract management, cost benchmarks, and market rates.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability, and cost control skills.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing project environment with multiple stakeholders.

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, with a hybrid setup of 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home.
