Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Product and Process Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and improving product and process quality, managing customer quality interactions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with relevant industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and ensure product and process consistency throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and standard operating procedures.
  3. Conduct process audits, analyze findings, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  4. Collaborate with engineering, production, and other teams to resolve quality issues to optimize processes.
  5. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for product and process non-conformances.
  6. Support process validation, capability studies, and statistical process control (SPC) initiatives.
  7. Prepare and present quality data, metrics, and reports to management and stakeholders.
  8. Manage customer quality expectations by addressing requests, handling quality feedback, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  9. Serve as a key point of contact for customer quality communications, supporting audits and providing requested documentation.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in related manufacturing industries.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality engineering principles (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA, MSA).
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
  • Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or equivalent is an advantage.
