The QA Officer – COMAN supports quality assurance activities for external manufacturing partners within the Meals & Beverages business, including product release, document review, sampling and testing support. The role also assists with quality investigations, GMP verification, audits, mock recalls, traceability, working closely with internal and external partners.
This role will be based - Campbell Cheong Chan, Petaling Jaya
Job Description:
(a)Co-Man Product Release & Disposition Coordination
- Coordinate routine finished product release and on-hold activities for co-manufactured products.
- Review certificates of analysis, production records, test results, and related quality documents against defined requirements.
(b) Quality Issue, Audit & Traceability Support
- Support investigation of quality issues, complaints, deviations, and non-conformances involving co-manufacturers, warehouses, or external partners.
(c) Quality Issue, Audit & Traceability Support
- Manage QA sample retention and disposition, Administer QA-related purchasing and payment follow-through
Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, laboratory coordination, or a related operational quality role.
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety and quality management systems, and documentation control requirements.
- Able to review and organize technical documents such as certificates of analysis, production records, testing reports, and traceability records
Travel Requirements:
- Willing and able to travel occasionally for co-manufacturer visits, warehouse support, audits, GMP verification, trials, or issue follow-up activities.
- Travel independently for local assignments as required by the business.
