Job Description

Procurement Management:

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
  • Evaluate tenders and quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Cost and Contract Management:

  • Monitor project costs to ensure the budget is maintained.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports.
  • Support contract administration, including variations, progress claims, and final accounts.

Site Support:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and effective project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to verify work done and progress.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain and update proper documentation and records of all QS activities.
  • Prepare project cost reports and assist in forecasting project budgets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum2 years of working experiencein quantity surveying. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiar with local construction laws, building materials, and construction methods.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS-related software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Willing to be based at project site in NilaiandOpen to Malaysiansonly.
