Procurement Management:
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Evaluate tenders and quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Cost and Contract Management:
- Monitor project costs to ensure the budget is maintained.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports.
- Support contract administration, including variations, progress claims, and final accounts.
Site Support:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and effective project execution.
- Conduct site visits to verify work done and progress.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain and update proper documentation and records of all QS activities.
- Prepare project cost reports and assist in forecasting project budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum2 years of working experiencein quantity surveying. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
- Familiar with local construction laws, building materials, and construction methods.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS-related software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Willing to be based at project site in NilaiandOpen to Malaysiansonly.
