Role Description The Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. The role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and estimates for construction and refurbishment projects. The Quantity Surveyor will monitor and control project costs, produce regular cost reports, and support value engineering and risk management activities. Daily responsibilities include evaluating tenders, assessing variations and claims, preparing interim valuations and final accounts, and liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role also requires maintaining accurate cost records, supporting procurement strategies, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Qualifications
- Strong cost planning and cost management skills for pre- and post-contract stages.
- Experience in cost control and cost reporting to track budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing BOQ and related measurement documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Cubicost and standard forms of contract is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and translate them into accurate cost data.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in project teams.
- Proficiency in relevant QS and office software (e.g., MS Excel, cost management tools).
- Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory professional practice and continuous learning.
