As the Regional HR Operations Manager, SEA, you will drive HR operational excellence across the region, partner closely with Country HR teams and stakeholders, and ensure HR services are compliant, efficient, and people centric.
In this Role, you'll get to
Lead HR operational excellence by independently managing and streamlining core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and HR service delivery, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws
Drive HR data accuracy and insights, ensure the integrity of HRMS data and deliver meaningful reports and dashboards to support decision-making
Act as a regional compliance and operations SME, proactively managing labor law compliance, governance, and operational risk
Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and SOPs to enable scalable and compliant HR operations, including addressing gaps in employee lifecycle support and employee care mechanisms
Coordinate and support key regional HR initiatives, including performance and talent reviews, learning and development programs and department budget planning and utilization, ensuring consistency and alignment
Lead and support HR projects and change initiatives, covering process improvements, system implementations, and Shared Services transitions, to ensure smooth adoption and measurable outcomes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance within HR operations
Partner closely with Country HRs, HRBPs, COEs, and HR project teams to deliver cross-border initiatives and ensure smooth rollout, effective cascading, and to influence strategic outcomes across the region
Provide relief operational support to Country HR teams when required, ensuring continuity of HR operations and compliance during absences, transitions, or peak periods
Engage relevant stakeholders regularly to provide operational updates, monitor project performance, identify risks and resolve issues, and propose improvement initiatives
What you'll Need to Succeed
8 to 10 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Transformation, or related HR functions
Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR compliance practices; exposure to multiple SEA markets is highly advantageous
Experience working with Shared Services or global HR delivery models
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in 0-1 environments, including building, stabilizing, and scaling HR operations, processes, or frameworks from the ground up
Proven ability to manage complex projects from strategy through execution, driving HR operations at scale
Proficient in HRMS systems, with strong capabilities in data governance, analytics, and reporting
Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills, including dashboards and management materials
Outcome-driven and structured problem solver with solid project and change management methodology knowledge
Strong stakeholder management capability within regional, matrixed organization
Resilient, adaptable, and self-driven, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
Willingness to travel as required
