We are looking for a leader with supply chain and sourcing capabilities. This role has the potential to drive both strategic category management and end-to-end sourcing execution across Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies from building pipeline of initiatives to driving cost optimization, ensuring security and sustainability of supply
- Create value from market intelligence, spend analytics and supplier insights to further drive value opportunities
- Partner stakeholders to unlock value and drive new strategies
- Lead a high performing team managing end-to-end sourcing activities, cross border projects and initiatives to deliver total cost of ownership
- Manage and lead commercial negotiations and contract development for key suppliers ensuring consistency, governance and compliance across the region
- Champion process improvements, digital initiatives, tracking relevant KPIs to deliver efficiency and scalability
Key Requirements:
- Over 10 years experience in strategic sourcing, leading and delivering complex projects and cost savings
- Regional exposure within matrix reporting to business and stakeholders
- Commercially strong with experience in negotiations, total cost of ownership and project management
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proven track record in strategy, execution and innovation
- Highly analytical, problem solving and decisive, with ability to translate data into insights
- Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
